Calgary, Alberta Marriage Commissioner
Vows by Judy
I moved to Calgary almost 30 years ago to attend university and quickly fell in love with the people and spirit of the city. I had an exciting and rewarding 30 year career in public service working for the City of Calgary, the Province and in education. I am honoured to be able to continue my public service through a Marriage Commissioner appointment for the Province of Alberta.
When I am not walking my Basset Hound or busy keeping her out of my flowerbeds, I try to give back to the community. My loveable dog and I volunteer with PALS (Pet Access League Society) and I have a solo gig with The Alberta Children's Hospital. I coached softball and helped out with wonderful organizations like Special Olympics and the Canadian Cancer Society for years. I am also actively involved with the Wildwood Community Association, where you can find me cooking hotdogs each year at our annual community clean up or helping out at a casino or other fundraiser.
I love to travel and enjoy meeting people from all cultures and backgrounds. I celebrate diversity and get a real kick out of helping people achieve their goals. Oh, and I love cooking and a glass of good red wine!
I look forward to meeting you and to helping you plan the wedding ceremony that is perfect for you and your partner!
