I am Judy Wiltse, an authorized Marriage Commissioner for the Province of Alberta. I have had the privilege of performing hundreds of ceremonies for amazing couples since 2015.  And I am extremely grateful and humbled to have been named the Best Marriage Officiant by Avenue Magazine in 2023.

I moved to Calgary many years ago to attend university and quickly fell in love with the people and spirit of the city. I had an exciting and rewarding 30 year career in public service working for the City of Calgary, the Province and in education.

When I am not walking my Basset Hound or busy keeping her out of my flowerbeds and garden, I try to give back to the community.  My loveable dog and I volunteer with PALS (Pet Access League Society) and I have solo gigs with The Alberta Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.  I coached competitive softball for years and help out with wonderful organizations like Special Olympics and the Canadian Cancer Society. I am also actively involved with the Wildwood Community Association.

I love to travel and enjoy meeting people from all cultures and backgrounds.  I celebrate diversity and get a real kick out of helping people achieve their goals.  I am an avid supporter of public libraries and I love cooking, baking, and craft beer.    And I fully admit to being a perogy snob.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you plan the wedding ceremony that is perfect for you and your partner.
